3.2 central locking console button light stays on

In the last few days, I have noticed that the central locking button light is on without the headlights being on when the ignition is on. Also sometimes the left park light and left rear light is on after I have parked the car with the ignition off. (it's right hand drive)

It has been out in heavy rain recently (an earlier thread with no answer mentioned two cars getting wet with the this issue).

Everything still works. Any ideas as to what the problem could be.

Thanks
Alex.

The CLB is connected to the Fog Light switch. You may have a short at the fog light switch.

As far as the marker lights those will turn on if you turn signal is activated and remain in the position. It is a feature for poorly lit roads so on coming cars know your car is there. If not the turn signal then you might have moisture intrusion that may have caused a short, check your fuse panel for loose wires coming from below the fuse box.

Thanks Jim. Clearly the two are unrelated and the left lights being on are because the indicator didn't center when I parked. I will remove the radio and look at the fog light wiring on the switch.
