Wheel identification help?

the car is a 72T with a light metal wheels 6jx15 with 185/70 vr15 option.... It doesnt look period correct? Maybe the black paint make it look like later model wheels, Is this an S wheel? Any comments? TIA...

You have to take off the wheel and look for parts number or brand .

The wheel pictured is wider than 6", looks like a 7" to me, possibly a replica. Definitely not the original.

I don't think so, too much lip for a deep 6. Or at least it looks that way to me.

thats what Im thinking... though deep six black paint goes further into the lip giving it that look... if this wheel was painted that way, will it look like a deep six? Anyone have a deep six pic to compare?

You need to take the wheel off and look for the part number OR, get a better pic. SOME deep sixes do not have hearts at the hole near the valve stem.

Just speculation w/o out more information.

Smile Wheel identification

Looks to be one of the older reproduction American Eagle alloys...


You would need to take it off and have a look at the back of it to be sure.
