a/c compressor bolt torque specs?

I just received a rebuilt Nippondenso compressor for my '85, and it had block-off plates where the hose fittings go.... no instructions included, and of course the Haynes manual doesn't even mention the a/c system. I'm concerned about over or under-tightening the bolts because most (all?)of them are into aluminum.

I'm hoping you guys can help me out with the torque specs for the hose fitting hex bolts (onto compressor), the compressor mounting bolts (compressor to bracket), and the adjustment bolts (tighten once tension is adjusted). Couldn't find anything on it in the archives.

Does any source or manual have this information besides the factory manual (asumming it has it)?

TIA!

Hello

Ask your suplier/retailer for specific specs on the compressor.
Normaly the compressors come ready to be boltet in.
If you have to swap your old compressors adapterplate on then you have ordered a unit for proffesionals who know there stuff and have the correct tools. Not sure on waranty issues.

The other bolts have standard DIN specs.

I usually tighten the 13mm head bolts on the compressor stand with 30 NM. messured with the ellbow ;)
