This is interesting for sure. I've used Brad-Penn 20W50 for the last four years with no complaints. I'd be interested to know how it matches up in the zinc-phosphorus category. Maybe HarryD has an opinion; that which I would respect.

Have you seen the price - over $20/ liter! The cans make for great garage art but I couldn't see actually using it for an oil change.

It's 20 for a 2 liter can when I checked with the dealer. I do like the 60 part because here in Fl if in traffic with the a/con on oil pressure drops with M-1
I recently bought 5 two liter cans of Motul 20-60 and I think by the looks the P cans, it is in the same cans as Motul, check out their web site. Maybe its Motul. In Fl I don't need the 10w so I went with their 20w, which is for older vehicles.

Your absolutely right, it's 5 liter can Not 2, for the P oil. It was Motul with the 2L.

Dropped by my local dealer last week to pick up an oil filter, the parts guy showed me the "Porsche" oil. He said cost for enough to do an oil change was about $115, by way of comparison a case of BP (from a distributor) is around $70 (note Canadian prices). The can is quite nice and many are buying it to have the can on display on their shelf. Also claimed the oil is actually made by Porsche and is not repackaged Motul, Mobil, or BP etc (he works at a dealership so he should know
![]() My take, the can is nice but not for $50 over my BP, having said that I'm sure they'll sell. |

I'd like to know who's oil this really is. I'm sure Porsche is not drilling their own crude, nor refining their own cocktail.
Lots of $$ for a fancy can.
