Factory Flares - 934 & 3.0RSR
Hi All -
Doing a bit of research... Was a 934 a steel bodied car with factory turbo flares, that then had the 934 flares bolted to them? ![]() On the 3.0 RSR, I am guessing the rear flares are fiberglass. Was it a full quarter panel replacement, or were the flares bonded to the steel quarter panel? If it was a full quarter panel, where was it attached/blended to the car on the factory built cars? ![]() ![]() Thanks! Scott S

934: Steel bodied car with fiberglass extensions. The FIA rules were such that the 934 had to weigh almost as much as its full production version. So they came with steel body work and even electric windows !
RSR: "Applique" flare sections over cut back stock quarter panels
