Address to Porsche Home in Zell am See?

I'm at a convention all week in the ski town of Waidring, Austria.......I find I'm only about 2 hrs from the museum in Grumd and Zell am See can be on the way....I know the old family home is occupied and private. BUT, I'd like to drive by and click a few photo's.....It's a small town, but not that small.

Anyone have an address or directions? Welcome comments on what else to see in both towns. Thanks.......

I would advise you not to get yourself shot or thrown in jail. Many an old shotgun around there.

Thanks about my mom and I's car collection Willie. Right now we are short of a good place to park the cars. I'm renting some space under my buddy's Seat dealership but it's not ideal. Hopefully soon I can get a warehouse at the Zell am See airport. That will be ideal and I can start working on them. Anyway, I have some pictures of the are so I'll post them here.

That's Zell am See in the picture. Along with a couple of other villages. I took that pic after a typical Sunday beer pounding on top of the mountain then a high speed mountain bike run down. To the bottom right is Kaprun, where I live. To the left is the village of Piesendorf. In the center, next to Zellersee, is Schuttdorf where the Porsche family estate is. Not seen but behind the left mountain, Schmitten, is Zell am See center. The entire mountain on the left belongs to the Porsches and Piechs. So does the land surrounding the airport. If the Porsches were broke tomorrow, they would just have to wait until winter snow to make a few million from ski lift ticket sales. Even at the lowly 40 euro day pass rates. Yeah, Colorado is a rip off.

Google Earth is pretty amazing. Beautiful countryside. Your mountains are not unlike our Sierra Nevadas, except that of course it's Europe and lots of people live there.

So cool. I'll be out in Fridolfing in 2 weeks- not too far from the Austria/Germany border. I love this area, it's so beautiful.

Don't get too excited. Looks like a secluded/shielded compound.
