Rust not to touch??

Does anyone know of an inexpensive fix for frame rust in the front and back. This 911E has frame rust in the back where the pivot arms mount to the frame and they are CRACKED from thick rust! Is this repairable or just a sign of bad rust problems that i can't see on the frame? It is also rusty where the torsion bars mount to the frame in the front. Is this to be expected with a 73 911 or is this just bad news?
Thanks for any experienced rust repairers
Alex

911E's don't have frames. You have major problems...sorry to bear the bad news.

I hate to say it, but from your description it sounds like that car is pretty far gone. It could easily cost you $5000+++ to even begin to fix the car properly if it is really that rusty.

The front pan is easy (relatively) but the rear unibody (tub) ain't.

In my opinion the only "cheap fix" is to find a new non-rusty roller, transfer over any parts (engine?) that you want to keep, and then sell this tub for anything you can get...which won't be much. In fact out here in Calif. cars with rust like that are generally cut-up for parts.

Sorry for the lame news, but RUST KILLS
