correct front bumper for '73E + option questions
 

I'm trying to determine the original bumper configuration for my '73E. Any insight?

I have the original bill of sale and the relevant options I can see are:
Appearance Group $200 (just S trim, around wheel arches etc?)
Fog Lights $70 (through the grill or under bumper? The car had TTG lights and switch when I bought it, but I thought they were referred to Porsche as driving lights)
Front Spoiler N.C. (S bumper?)

I sent away for the COE a couple weeks ago and just had my credit card charged. Not sure how long it will take to receive the actual piece of paper.

Front Spoiler is the S bumper.
You can also call 1-800-PORSCHE, option 5, with questions.
I spoke with them before I ordered the COA, very nice to deal with.

the optional S bumper projected w/ a gap where the RS bumper would have had an oil cooler bump, like this

there was also a difference in trim std was thin S had a wider chrome base w/ wider rubber insert, this is my '72 w/ RS bumer and S trim

The 73E and 73S came with the S bumper.

So mine should look like pic #2? What about the "fog lights"? Are those the TTG lights I have?

I would say yes. Overall TTG could be either driving lights or fog lights. However, for US from the factory, only the TN4 fog lights for the TTG configuration were offered.

For ROW 73 one could order either fog lights or driving lights as TTG and one could also order both fogs and driving. In that configuration the driving lights would have been TTG and the fog lights would have been mounted to the bottom of the Spoiler with special brackets.

Hey guys, just a quick question, are the longhood SWB and LWB front bumpers different dimensions (primarily concerning where the end of the bumper lines up with the front wheel well).
