Porsche Crest looking for 15" fuchs...

I have a 1968 912 (sorry 911 folks!), that has 15" steel wheels with the chrome caps - i'd like to upgrade to Fuchs.

yes, I have looked through the archives here, but am still in search of replica fuchs I can buy, or someone here that wants to get rid of theirs.

does anyone know of places who sell these?

thanks in advance

I have an entire set of 15" replica fuchs.
for the front, sizes are 7 X 15
for the rear , sizes are 81/2 X 15

these are great tires for the track.

they have intermediate racing tires already on them.
i'd say the tread is half way gone.

would consider selling them.

if interested, feel free to call me at:
202 276-1414 or send me a private email.

best,
Maurice

i have to see (search for) the widths that my car will be able to take as it's a '68 with no fender flaring at all. I know that others have asked on this BBS what sizes will work.

The reason I was looking for 15's, is that I have decent 15's on my current setup, and was hoping to not have to buy rubber right off the bat...

ya, MIKEZ is correct about the 15" tires. You will have limited options. I just replaced my 15" cookie with 16" fuchs for that reason. Many believe 16's are on the way out as well.

It took me about a month to find the Fuchs. 6X16 and 7X16 will probably set u back $6-800. Don't even think about 8X16.

Good luck.

I have a set of original, factory 15x6 with tires mounted. They are not polished, but are in fair to good condition. They need a good cleaning more than anything. The tires are not performance oriented but do have lots of tread left. I have 5 of these.

I also have another set of 15x6 fuchs, factory originals, that are polished and in excellent condition. They have no tires.

Either set could be for sale. email me.

Where are you located? I have a genuine set in South Carolina. They are off an 86. I keep them as spares but if you need them you need them. I could let them go.

I think they are 6"s and 7"s. I'd have to check, they might be 7"s and 8"s.

They are in pretty good shape. I'd say better then good actually.
