1993 911 C2 Coupe

Having a problem where i am getting very hot air blowing through the front vents while driving.

AC does not work nor does defrost, defrost goes on for 1 second then dies down to nothing, tried putting free on in the AC system with no help.

Anybody have any ideas, other then that engine running fine

Also spoiler staying up for some reason.

Not quite the right forum but if it's anything like my late 80s model (which it it) it would have to be both a problem with heater blower and heater flapper boxes.

Try the 964/993 forum

Faulty heater control valve would end up blowing full on heat. Touch it with your hands. If it's hot when car is cold,,it failed

The heater valves on your car are controlled by differential pressure. There are fans located in the front of the car that pressurize the chambers leading from the heater valves. When the fans stop functioning, the valves open and admit heated air. I suspect this is what is happening with your car.

You need to troubleshoot the a/c heater system and figure out what is not working and why.

This is correct and an excellent answer
