Hope you all had a great time! Not to go too far off topic but I'm wondering what events are happening this weekend. I know of the car rally that stops at downtown Carmel Friday night. I'm also aware of the historic races at Laguna Seca and Concours at Pebble Beach. What else is happening in this area?

One of the very special morning runs during the Monterey Historics each year. Great friends meeting in a parking for a morning drive on one of the best roads in the Monterey area. A not to be missed invitation to enjoy driving your car!


Dan and I, are now the only one's to have run all five years in a row; Craig will be back next year!

Remember don't leave your car unlocked around these guys!

Thanks Dan for keeping the drive alive ! It was great meeting everyone , we can't wait until next year . We made the return trip to Vancouver B.C. with no trouble and no tickets . 2800 miles and my wife / co-pilot didn't complain once . See you guy's next year ! P.S. I couldn't shake Julio , Every time I checked my mirrors all I saw was his black 911 with a roof rack pushing us as we entered the next corner .

I had an awesome time last week seeing old friends and making new ones...Dad (Tony) would have really enjoyed our spirited driving in the tight twisties of CVR...

This was where a few of us were met by Editor in Chief of Road & Track, Larry Webster. We had pulled over and I noticed a newer 4-door Mercedes pulled up behind us. Being a car guy, he just stopped to say hi and see what we were doing! Super nice guy - jumped in Ricks 912 and hauled the mail for a few miles. Funny thing happened - he gets back into the Mercedes 400 - and says:
"you guys wanna follow me?" - as he pulled further and further away, I was saddened that a 4-door Mercedes pulled away from us! Pretty good driver to boot!!
