Wheel Refinishing Options

So my SC is finally going in for a bare metal respray this October; also need to address the wheels and was wondering if anyone had any recent experience with Weidman, Wheel Enhancement, or any other source (is Al Reed still in business?). The paint shop said their last inquiry (can't remember who thy contacted) turned up an 18 month lead time. Thanks in advance!

Len, nice grouping of cars in your garage. I've got a few similar.
Bimmerfest East is August 2nd @ Ripken Stadium in northern MD.

Oh yeah, about the wheels.. I'd say depends on what kind of finish you're looking for.. Weidman and Al reed are always winners. I've only purchased from Wheel Enhancement, no service work with them.

Looking for as close to a factory finish as possible. Considering purchasing a set of replica Fuchs to use for daily driving while the others are refinished...

I've just sent a set out to Harvey Weidman and it depends on the finish you're looking for. Standard anodized barrels and black centers sound like they are running a month or two as of last week. RSR and early car finishes seem to be running over 12 months lead-time. Your best bet is to call and find out. All of my research says Harvey is the man. I'll give further impressions once the jewelry arrives.

If you're looking for the classic finish but want quicker turnaround than Harvey can offer, you could try Rohrer Wheel Restoration in Sandy, UT. He did mine in 4 weeks. I did my own paint, but he can do that as well. PM or email me if you have questions.
