No text? So, is the only upgrade the additional baffle to the air inlet? Just curious, how did you measure the blower output?

Measured inflow FPM using a Kestrel 4000 (nkhome.com). Outflow ducting was intact and in "dump" mode. Inlet, engine fan, ducting was removed and closed off near the engine, didn't much care for the heating level variation with RPM.

Plus more cooling air to/for the engine, "backup" engine cooling mode no longer cycles on as often.

I did disassemble the cabin heat motor beforehand. Soaked the front and rear bearing cotton wadding with 30 weight, and burnished the commutator segments. Brushes appeared to be more than 2/3s used up.

Anyone know of a good source for upgrading the squirrel cage blower wheel. A deeper one would add even more CFM rather than "baffling" the backflow.
