Helion looking for a targa to do a test fit on.
The Helion composite targa top prototype is now ready to test fit on a vehicle, '74-86.

Heinz, good to hear from you! While I'm not sure of the weight of the folding top, the original top I did was a clone of the factory hardtop. This is the one that has been thoroughly tested and shown on nineball's car. That top weighs 10.5 lbs which is less than half of the original factory hard top. I expect the J-Hook version to come in close to that, maybe slightly higher due to the weight of the J-hook latches.

I must say that I was impressed by the work you've done thus far with this development. I am going to keep an eye on that development thread that you have been updating. As I was knee deep in my "paver project" I did not get to spend much time talking to you - but I was glad to be able to help out a little by providing another data point.
