3.0 Camshafts...Carbs

I am thinking about going with carbs on a 3.0. Engine has JE 8.5:1 pistons. I have 40IDA carbs.
Anyone running carbs on their 3.0? What cams are you using? This will be street/DE use, 2600# SC.

Pat,
I had my SC cams reprofiled by John Dougherty to DC-19 specs, basically 964 cams with an additional .030" lift. They work great with 40IDAs and SSIs, but I have slightly higher CR pistons (9.3:1) in my motor.

Hi Pat, I'm running 964 Elgin cams in my 3.0 and 40IDA Webers and SSI, it's a nice set up for sure
