UK Throttle Body Bushes
Hi, I've searched the archives re. the rebuilding of throttle bodies and Eurometrix stands out as the place to go. However, I'm in the UK (with heavily worn bushes), and can't find anyone who offers a similar service here.
Does anyone in the UK know of a firm offering this service, or have experience (and hence cost & turnaround) of sending theirs to Eurometrix. Thanks. |

I've not had Eurometrix do my carbs but I did talk to Matt over there. I was impressed with his knowledge level and wouldn't hesitate to send my carbs in.
The price was about $560 for machining and replacement. More if you need new shafts. Not too bad really, you will have a set of as-new carbs.

Thanks Chuck . This is for my MFI system on a 2.2E. The costs are going to be higher because of the shipping involved more than anything.

A guy in germany also does throttle bodies. He is a bit more expensive though and I havenīt heard anybody else about him. Here is his website: http://www.bobs-services.de/
I am considering having mine rebuild over there, basically also because of shipping costs and taxes. I already had someone over here in the netherlands have a go at rebuilding mine, very disappointing result. Important to know other people experiences beforehand

If Autofarm doesn't offer the service, I'm sure they can recommend someone who does!
