Toolkit bag cleaner

I accidentally got some paint overspray on my toolkit bag.

Looking for a solution to removing the overspray.
What do you guys suggest?

Wish that was the least of my worries.

Try soap water and a micro fiber towel. The MF towels can knock off cooties without impacting the underlying surface.

Maybe the easiest? Buy a quart of lacquer thinner at the auto parts store. Put a small amount on a rag. Not soaked. Swipe it across an "edge" of the over-spray to assess impact to spray and/or tool bag. Bet it comes off without issue.

What type of paint? Rustoleum? Single stage urethane with hardener? Epoxy primer? Polyester bases coat?

It was Rustoleum. I used several rattle cans to aid in protecting the sheet metal until I was ready to have the vehicle correctly repainted to the factory color.

Try grab your wifes or girlfriends nailpolish remover. Its not as strong as most chemical removers and should be gentler on the toolkit bag. Use an old tee shirt etc.

Oh, hell yes. Forgot about these when I was thinking of the micro-fiber towels above.

I would not even use soft scrub. Just a detailing spray for some lubrication and then rub.

Peanut butter. No joke, the oil in it removes tar and grease as well as sticky residue from inspection stickers or other stickers on your window.
