I'm back!!
I made it back! 90 days in Turkey doing Operation Northern Watch can really drag!!!
On to my question! As some of you know I'm in the middle of an engine and tranny rebuild. While cleaning I noticed that my rear shocks are blue. I can't see any markings on them, so I'm not sure what kind they are. I plan on doing the suspension next and I've been looking for new shocks. But I'm not sure what inserts to use! Any ideas!? Thanks!! ![]()

With the rear shocks you replace the whole unit, not just the cartridge, so it doesn't matter what you replace them with. (Bilsten, Boge, Koni, KYB) Some say it is a good idea to match the brands in front and back.

Glad to hear that you're back.
Maybe we should meet up and share experiences. my engine and transmission are still cowering in the garage waiting for the body to come back from the paint shop. Fancy sharing a gearbox re-build and clutch replacement. Good work out there. ![]()
