Shift Knob Pattern Question
 

I noticed on some knob inserts there is a triangle on the pattern. Sometimes it is on the line leading to the R, other times it is between each vertical grouping. What does this triangle mean?

Indicates that there is a spring preload you have to push past to get into that gate.
