Ruf Turbo around A1

On Goodyears' new website for their Eagle F1 tire (http://eaglef1.com) there are videos of Derek Ball taking a lap on the A1 circut in a Ruf Turbo. It's some pretty cool video, I think
Anyway, check it out.

Later!

Chuck

(full disclosure: yep, I work for Goodyear)

Chuck,
Excellent video. A well produced web site, good cars, and I have no doubt some good treads. I have a question though. I used to work for the 'Stone people on the other side of town (no animosity to the Goodyears, I changed jobs, and right now I have crappy BFG's on the Pcar). I noticed that the CART pace car used to have a version of the F1 during the "tire war". It looks to be good, but not that different than the SO2/SO3 tire. Are there any benefits that the company is touting?
Thanks,

PS- not to nit pick but Goodyear is out of F1. I would actually like to see more companies involved, makes everything more fun. And less work for the tire mounters at the track!

NapTownSpeedy:

Hey! No, I don't know what the differences are, but I'm just a bean-counter.

And I agree on the Goodyear being out of F-1. Internally, before this it seems like NASTYCAR was the end-all be all. They don't even seem to push the ALMS circuit that much even though they're on the Vettes. It's all rock climbing and Nascar. I'd love to see them get back into it, but with the stock at sub 10$, I don't hold my breath.

I do like the web site, though!

Thanks! Chuck
