brake pads, why hast thou forsaken me?!!
replacing the rear pads for the first time on my 69t. easy peasy, right?
wrong. the pin holes on the textar pads I ordered from our host are just a bit too narrow. has anyone else dealt with this? should I drill them wider? I can't imagine they sent the wrong ones, part numbers match up and there was just the one pad to choose from in the rear. pic of the new pads sitting back to back with the old ones, note the pin holes are narrower: ![]() pic of the pin almost but not quite making it into the new pads:

They look wrong. Pads on the 69T I had the Pad plate were slightly wider than the braking mateial, ie there was a slight lip. Maybe the producer boxed them incorrectly. I´m sure Pelican would change them for you.

Wrong parts in the right box, very possible, it happened to me with a $1,000 ECU. Those pads don't look right to me either, there's not enough backing plate. Do you have M calipers on the front? They use the same size pad. Pull them, measure or try fitment.

if the pads dimensionally are the right units,
And it is just the holes that are a problem, take a round file and open them up a hair. No big deal!

They don't appear dimensionally correct, but much narrower. Wrong pads in box.

Might be a dumb question but Are you sure you have the original caliper on your car?
