aftermarket charcoal canister
I wanted to know if there is an aftermarket charcoal canister that I can use on my 85 3.2 ...someone has changed the original out and it has BMW label on it and it is rusty. I would like to replace it any suggestions would be great. Also is this a vacuum canister, If so this might be my problem.
Thank You Len |

There probably is, but most car builders (replicas, kits, etc.) use a large canister fuel filter and replace the filter element with activated charcoal bought at a pet store for use in fish tank filters. Works great!
Here's a perfect example: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g1507/overview/
