I can't really comment on his personal status because I never called him or traded emails with him about grinding and polishing the 964 cams I have to put in my engine. I did a lot of searching in this forum and the engine building forum. Elgin Cams got some really good recommendations so I sent them an email. Almost immediately Dema Elgin replied back and after a few emails later my cams were boxed and on their way to the west coast. They came back within two weeks (I think it was 11 days total with two weekends and shipping included). Unfortunately with all the comments on the forum about whatever the delays were, slow response times, etc...it was enough to make me look for another machinist to grind and polish my cams. No discredit whatsoever to the quality of his work because his reputation is absolutely stellar I just didn't want to take the chance of waiting an unknown amount of time.
