3M Crystiline Window Tint ?

Thinking of getting windows tinted in a 1988 Triple Black 911 Coupe to help with interior cooling and to a degree security.
I had a quote for $450 to use 3M Crystaline Product (Virtually Clear).
I was also thinking of getting the 3M Crystaline on just the front windows and going with normal Dark Tint on the Rear and Quarters.
Any comment regarding effective use ?

Clearly we are a clone of some sort. Mine: Triple black 88, crystalline going in the front tomorrow, rear and quarters dark. Will let you know.

I have had good experience with other cars but am a bit concerned about distortion, we'll see.

exactly the same application. Clear on the front and dark on the sides and rear. Helped with interior heat.

on my black 996 I did clear on fronts (including windshield) and the lightest tint on the the back glass only. Love it. Overall the clear has a very slight tint to it and the tint on the back glass darkens the interior the perfect amount (in my opinion)

I am amazed at the performance. I am in Austin and it was 104 today. Getting into my car was reasonably comfortable... i mean still very warm but it cools off a lot faster now since its not like the ovens of hell.

To tint or not to tint... that is the question.
