Best Restoration book/documentation
 

Hi All -
I have Dr Johnson's Restorers Guide for my car, but I am looking for more detailed info. Is there a more detailed restoration/concours book someone can recommend?

Mine is a 77 - so primarily 1974 to 89, but I would love to find something that also included the long hood cars as well.

I like Peter Morgans book - I have the earlier version of this one. Yes, it's haynes suported but let me look at mine tonight to see how in depth it is. I remember it being informative.

Also this one is good but just provides detail on the cars and what they included. Might want to buy the $20 on line version as the single new hardcopy edition is $2,200. (?????)

Peter Morgan has a good restoration book for the 911.

I'll send you mine if you want to check it out. It is really detailed. I think it's been 15 years since I looked at it. Body section has way more than I thought.
