Too loud

my 73.5 T is just to d@mb loud. It is fine on the highway or twisties, but around town or anywhere nice it is just to loud. I do have SSI and Monty dual in/out which is part of it, but is there anythig else I can do. Something in the tips. Or maybe going back to factory exhaust. Sometimes it's enjoyable, but now it is annoying to me.
thanks

It's usually the resonance that really gets to you. You might consider varying the length of the exaust tips to help that. My B&B is pretty loud on the street car, but only gets truly annoying at certain speeds because of resonance...

Best is just go go back to the stock 2 in 1 out factory muffler. Everything else will have some level of drone to it at street rpms. The factory muffler truly is drone and resonance free.

You can have an exhaust shop make a cap for one of the outlets. Put it on, and your volume will decrease dramatically. If you go out for an afternoon of canyon carving, you can just take it off and enjoy the symphony.

There you go, do like Jack did once and stick a tennis ball up one of the outlets, and take her for a spin
