Actually for me I found they were all around the same when you started adding up callipers, rotors, hats, pads, lines shipping etc.
But that's down here in Australia you might find your dealer prices are allot cheaper up there, down here they like to bend you over the service counter first. I have the Zuffenhaus going on my hotrod project now and will hopefully have it back this week so will let you know how they feel but anything is going to be better to what was on there previously. Cheers Al

They ARE 930 calipers, just different castings to replicate the early RSR (and 917) calipers. The RSR calipers had bigger pistons front and rear, and therefore different hydraulics. Z's calipers work just fine--and are a WHOLE BUNCH less expensive than RSR calipers

Still available, but now quite expensive.

I was recently quoted a sum for new 930 calipers, machining etc that approached the price of these. A non-pelican friend is considering them for a RSR tribute as well.
Also, I have never seen anyone post on them.

I have some pics of the Zuffenhaus on the rear of my car in my build thread HERE on page 2 near the bottom.
I will post full pictures of the fronts and rears installed when I get the car back. As mentioned the nice part is they use the 930 parts so at least in future spare parts will be readily available. Cheers Al

My car came from the factory with 930 brakes. The pedal is quite hard, even with the booster. I got used to it pretty quickly.
They pulled the car down from about 110 mph to 30ish right now (Streets of Willow CCW), lap after lap, without drama, using standard pads. Enjoy.
