Euromeister Brake Clearance

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone has successfully fit a Euromeister 17x7 on a Carrera 3.2 with Boxster brake upgrade? I am aware that the Euromeister front offset is the same as OE Fuchs (23.3) but that does not tell the entire story. Does anyone have a caliper clearance template?

Thank you in advance,

Rob

If in the case no one has fitted a euromeister wheel with boxster brake upgrade, can anyone provide the minimum distance between the wheel to disk. This will give me some reference.

I've had a few emails with Pelican, however, the representative wasnt able to help with a brake clearance template. A little disappointed on that one.

Anyone with a 17x7 Euromeister, if I supplied you a template via printable pdf (positive shape of the brake rotor/calliper) would you mind checking the clearance?? Alternatively, anyone in Melbourne Australia, would you be able to help out with a trial fitment?

Thanks all.

i think i can help. if you provide the template, i just have to print it out, pull the wheel and put the cutout against the hub?

Hi froggert,

You've got it. The template I provide you will place against the wheel, it will represent the the brake calliper position. If there is clearance a few millimetres then it should be acceptable.

My car is in the shop for most of next week, once back I'll contact you with the template.

Thanks again,

Rob

Closing the loop on this issue, thanks to froggert I can confirm that a Euromeister 17x7 will clear a Carrera front with upgraded Boxster brake callipers, well at least the template.

If anyone would like a copy of the template please PM me and I will send you a PDF.
