'84 Rear Reflector

My Cab's rear reflector comes loose on the left side while driving and gets about a 3/8" gap. The box connector tabs must be weak after 30 years. Did a part search and no dice. (Unless I missed them.) I'm thinking two-sided foam tape to hold it in or is there a better idea? I did read an old thread about an SC reflector where the muffler has to be removed to access the back side of the panel and the box connectors. Anyone familiar? Advice is welcome and TIA.

Normal:

After-drive gap:

Box connector (I'm being careful--I know reflectors are $$$):

Pulling the muffler is not too bad.

I just fitted a new reflector and didnt fit those stupid clips. I machined plastic spacers that sit over the top of a large washer and placed another washer on top and used nylocs now they will never move and I dont have to use those stupid clips and risk breaking the reflector when you want to pull it off for whatever reason.

I think D-Zug uses rare earth magnets to hold on thier CF pieces. Just a thought.
