Engine compartment labels
As the paint in the area around the engine compartment latch was in bad shape and the labels starting to peel off, I carefully removed the labels with a razor blade and have cleaned up and re-painted the latch shelf. The labels themselves are in very good condition and I would like to re-use them rather than order the reproductions.
question: has anyone successfully glue the labels back on with a contact adhesive? If so, what adhesive did you use? I have a can of 3M Super 77 and think that is probably as good as anything to try.

labels
You can buy new ones that are exactly the same as the ones you pealed of and will in fact look much better with your new paint.

I haven't done this on those stickers, but, in general, if you remove them with heat, much of the stickum will stay with the sticker. (because you wouldn't want to use any non-original glue
