Check out these Fuchs

Interesting lip on these, I've only seen them once before on a Silver homologation special 930, does anybody have any info on where to get 'em or have them made?

later,

amir

My best guess is that those are either vintage RSR wheels (15x9 & 15x11) redone, or they are custom. Monocoquewheels.com can make custom width three piece wheels from your centers. They advertise in Grassrotts Motorsports. BTW, a set of of RSR wheels usually goes for about $5000.

Those look like 7's in the front and 8's or 9's in the back. 9's and 11's wouldn't fit under stock flares, and these look 16".

I also don't see any evidence that these are 3 piece wheels, just stock fuchs with a polished lip. Am I missing something?

The fronts may be just stock polished but the rears are much different. Rather than having a two-angled lip where it goes from diagonal to straight round, this one is just straight round from the beginning........Hmm, that didn't make much sense but that's the only way I could explain it.

I didn't say that they were three piece wheels, after Amir made a reference to someone making wider wheels i mentioned a company that can make extra wide wheels from Fuch centers.

Also as far as the fit goes Randy Wells manages to fit 17x8.5 and 17x10 Fiske wheels under his similar bodied car.

Amir,
I noticed the back wheel too. The configuration of the rim looks like the wheel design on late model bimmers. Looks very nice. I asked Lindsey Racing a while ago about the possibility of 3-piece Fuchs wheels (17") using the bimmer-style wheels (BBS). They said it wasn't possible.

If anyone knows more, let us know.
