OEM car jack
Hello. My 1978 911 SC is missing the spare tire jack. Is there a place where I could buy one or something else useable? Thank you in advance.

You can place a WTB ad in the classifieds or you can buy a new Genuine Porsche one for around $150

I will look when I get home tonite. I'm not using mine and I may have stashed it in one of two places. I can part with it for a reasonable price.

Thanks for the replies! Out of additional curiosity, is there another jack that is just as useable as the factory one?

I found the jack. My car is a 1980 SC, but I'm sure that the jack is common to MANY years. It is well oiled and in excellent to near perfect mechanical condition. But you won't win a concourse with it. As far as I can tell, it's never pushed off the ground or the foot pad would be scored. But things like jacks get tossed around and end up a bit "imperfect" looking so you won't win a concourse with this one unless you go to work with some sandpaper and paint. I'd be glad to PM you some photos (or email) if you're interested. I don't know what a new one goes for, but someone posted $150 on this thread. You can make me a decent offer that includes $20 shipping and I'll be glad that it went to someone who will appreciate it. I've already sold the handsome spare. I have a air compressor that needs to go next. PM me or send me an email to alan@getlindquist.com.
