swb and lwb wipers
What are the differences between the two wipers from a SWB and a LWB, besides that the SWB are Gray and that they rest on the passenger side opposed to the LWB Black ones that rest on the driver side?
Thanks |

SWB are silver not grey (for starters) and they are 65-67, not 1968 (also a SWB year).
The silver wipers have 2 angled tips on the arms. One arm has a tip bent left, and one bent right. The black version was from 1968 to 1977. This setup has one wiper arm bent right, and one arm that is straight. The UK version (and Australia and other RHD cars) has one arm straight and another arm bent left. Also note that the silver arms when looked at on side profile run straight for about 6 inches (from the base) and then have a slight angle and then run straight again. The black arms have a "bow" (they have a curve to them). The wiper blades are also different, though both made by SWF. Sorry no side by side pics to show the difference. Hope it helps...

The rare option side window wipers are shorter on the SWB model.
