New addition to the family!

Just wanted to share my joy with the board. I took delivery yesterday, of a beautiful 86 911 cab.

It came from a very loving family, and has been adopted by my wife and I. She has 87,000 miles, a good bill of health from Ct Performance in Campbell, and lots of extras. The PO took excellent care of her.

No, I haven't, not will I be leaving the SCWDP. This is just a means for us to infiltrate the 3.2 Carrera pool. MUHAHAHAHA!

Nice car, Matt!

With those wheels it looks like Chuck Moreland's car!

well done Dr. Chamblin. Your infiltration is almost complete. Report back when you have pierced their outer flanks. Or grilled their flank steak.

I've had the car for almost 2 full days now, and feel like I'm going to have an ulcer. I've never owned such a nice car, and I'm parnoid about getting a scratch or a ding on her.

I also feel like a bad parent because the SC has to sit outside under a cover now, because I don't have room in the garage for both . I can see it is going to be hard to divide my time between both of them.

Boy, it sure does

And I know it found a good home with Matt. Do I get visitation rights?

That's affirmative Chuck! Anytime you want, come on by and lets go for a drive .

Yes Adam, it looks like Chuck's car, that's where I found her. I've been working on this arangement for the last month. I didn't want to say too much, ( besides asking for PPI places) for fear of jinxing the deal.

How cool is that? It's staying in the Pelican community.

It's a beautiful car, Matt... even if I am a little biased.

Glad to see you have your priorities I'm snickering at what the SCWDP members must be thinking right now

Welcome to the Carrera Cab Club!

Cheers

Hey Matt, great looking car. Big question: Which one will you be bringing to the SilverStar Swapmeet on Oct 13th?

I will be in the cab at the swapmeet, because the SC is too uncomfortable for the wife. That's if I don't have to bring the truck to haul all the goodies home I buy.

That's a good idea. A delicate Carrera cab is not going to be nearly as tough as your SC.

Enjoy!

Ahh...makes sense now. SC is for performance, the Carrera is for soft/plush.
