Door Stop Problem... the "chassis side" is loose
Question for a friend who is the new owner of a '96 993...
The body-mounted 'tabs' that the door stop (door stay?) fastens to is loose and moves quite a bit when opening and closing the door... and, of course, it makes an awful racket, open and close. Haven't had a chance to dig into the problem, but wanted to ask what we are likely to find when we do... has something simply become "unbolted," or is welding likely going to be needed? As always, thanks for the help. Rob
