A group in our club that own 356's will be staging a drive and brunch today. I wish I had a nice 4-cam Speedster to join them with.
However, nice guys that they are, they invited the Blue Bomber to "tag along." Don't be surprised if my ongoing case of "356 envy" is even worse after today's run! ------------------ '81 SC Coupe (aka: "Blue Bomber") Canada West Region PCA The Blue Bomber's Website "If it ain't broke...we'll help you fix it 'til it is!" |

Have fun! A flock of 356s ought to be a beatiful sight going down the road together! If you want to cool your ardor for a 356, you can steer the conversation to how many man-hours the guys with the nicest ones have put into them - that should dampen you a bit. Me, I won't tackle one until I've got a MIG welder and the skills to use it, if ever.

Just got back from a nice drive and brunch with the 356 folks. A lot of fine cars of all years, plus an early 911T, a 914-4, and the Blue Bomber ("newest" car in the group, riding shotgun on the herd).
One thing you note when in the presence of the 356'ers, is their lack of pretense, even though they have some very rare and valuable cars. Great folks! I know there are few 356 owners on this BBS, so here's a "News Flash" for you all.... The 2002 356 Registry West Coast Holiday will be held in Beautiful British Columbia, next Summer. Now that gives me about a year to find the "tub" of my dreams. ------------------ '81 SC Coupe (aka: "Blue Bomber") Canada West Region PCA The Blue Bomber's Website "If it ain't broke...we'll help you fix it 'til it is!"
