Goofy Speedo
I thought I had fixed a problem with my speedo but it has returned. It just went dead one day, so I pulled it out and cleaned all the connections. The problem effect the speedo and odometer. It worked and I thought no more of it. Well the problem has returned. I've found that if I start and stop the car a few times it will start working again. Then go several days before the next occurance. Is there any other wiring problem I should look for? Gauge lights and bright light symbol will work even when speedo and odometer stop. Strange.

You probably need to try the check and clean procedure to the other end of the wires (the sensor on the transmission).
