I was inspired by Juan's awesome hp numbers to create the following logo. I'm not an expert, just bored at work.
My 90 C2 is still with Todd and the motor should be back in the car soon. Gary |

I'll try a couple of hats to see what it looks like. What color do you like? I figure you and Juan got this started so that deserves a hat.

Juan, It's a little slow. I knew this back in Feb when I brought the car to Todd. I had a local shop diagnose what sounded to me like a burned exhaust valve. They ended up telling me the heads had been machined and needed to be replaced because they were leaking. He then suggested a used 993 motor to replace mine.
At that point I called Todd and told him my story. He said the 964 motors are very strong and he would do what he could as well as do the Stage 1 turbo. I told him the motor was out of the car and partially apart, he said no problem. But it would take awhile because he had a few other projects in the works. As of 2 weeks ago he was installing the last few pieces on the motor before installing it. All the fabrication work was done. I try not to pester him too much, but we've e-mailed every 2-3 weeks so I stay updated. What sounded like a burned exhaust valve initially, turned out to be a valve binding in the valve guide (too tight) so the valve wouldn't close all the way. I'll e-mail Todd today for an update and let you all know. Gary 90 C2 |
