Post horn

ive got a mommo stering wheel with horn buttons on the left and right side, how do i wire these up? im not got with electrical problems and this is simple im sure. i wired it up so the horn works, but when i turn the wheel all the way to the right or left the hot wire gets cut, or bound up and comes unhooked.what am i doing wrong?forgive me if this is a stupid question.

Your probably going to have to install a seperate horn button. The old wheel had a ring inside it which the wire would make contact with and not move when the wheel was turned.
