3rd gear worn out?
Although my 915 tranny works and shifts fine in the 3000-4000 rpm range, when I get on it comming out of 2nd and going into 3rd at 5000 rpm+ it will give a little gear grind noise. Could it be adjustment or just starting to wear out?

Time to start saving for a rebuild.
Change the trans fluid to Swepco 201 just to help it last a bit longer.
