maximum boost, can you handle it?

i apologise for those who have these but i've just read two books that anyone interested in more power and better handling might wanna take a look at.

"maximum boost" corky bell

obviously this is based on turbo installations (its quite old now - goes up to about 1980) but i think it would be a good read for turbo cynics as well as fans. theres loads of easy to read (thank you) technical stuff thats very enlightening.

lots of the topics really surprised me, especially a section on the loads an engine withstands, engine life expectancy, strength of gearboxes etc.

very informative (if a little outdated, but will teach the basics) .

"how to make your car handle" fred phun

again an old book, but the rules haven't changed. anyone with a 911 who wants to get to grips with the handling could do worse than have this on their book shelf.
