Your car and you posting skills are fantastic.

I especially like your steering wheel.

Wow, very nice! Looks great, nice and clean, too!!!

What year is it? I've got a '79 SC that doesn't look half as good as your pcar. I'll have to post a few pics of mine as well.

Thanks for posting yours.

That's one I WON'T take: factory H5's, fogs integrated into valance, no "ET" style CHMSL = 88.

I'll bet the owner uses his radar detector frequently.

Pictures open a whole other dimension to posting.

How often do you have to clean those rims to keep them looking like that?

I clean the rims about once every 6 weeks, they actualy were not even polished for these pictures, they were just cleaned. Mothers does a great job on the rims and I use Zaino on the car. I now have the AJ USA aluminum pedals and Carrera stainless steel sills as well as new Porsche floor mats. Looks a little better in the inside now. Thanks for all the compliments.

Although I now know 'how' to attach a picture, my problem is that my pics are in the 1.3-1.5 MB range (even after cropping). I've got them in the .JPG format. What am I missing here in order to get them under 65 K? I usually take my pics w/ the highest resolution possible...is that the problem? Thanks!

Probably, those pictures above were resized (I'm assuming they were resized) to 640x480, so if you do that the file size would drop drastically. If you lower the quality rate as well it'd make it a smaller file.. but we'd never want to do that to a Porsche picture

KC911,
Most likely; the reason why the file size is that big is because the resolution is too high for web site use (probably 300 dpi). If you have a photo program (e.g. Photoshop or equivalent), go to the image settings and reset to 72 dpi. The image dimensions will also change at the same time, so revise the image width to around 600 pixels. You can also adjust the jpg compression to a medium setting which should be fine for web use. You file size should now be around 60k.

Hope this helps,
Sherwood Lee

To downsize photos:

go to www.hamrick.com

download vueprint

It has a resize option. Just keep downsizing till it meets the amounts you need.

Someone on here told me to save them as a tif file then resave as a jpg and it helps.

Hey, 88,
Nice car! Our cars look somewhat similar...
Post a pic of the aluminum pedals. I'm thinking of doing the same.
