Help: Attaching Turbo tail

I know this is hardly a difficult subject, but mounting a 930 tail to engine lid.
What is proper bolt/nut or screw/nut combo ( i.e. size/ length) to make it as it should be as opposed to certifying me as hack.
Thanks
Terry

The threaded bolts should be protruding form the rubber. I think they are 10mm coarse threads. So get 16 or so 10mm nuts and washers. If the bolts aren't there, then you need a new rubber tail.

turbo tail

Sorry that is not what I meant.

The whole tail attaches to the engine lid....there are holes in both to attach.
I would like to know the proper bolt or screw specification that should be use to be correct. I could "make it work" but would rather do it correctly.
Thanks

I've asked that before and didn't get much info. Ended up going to Lowes and getting stainless steel 10mm hardware.

I'd suggest downloading the PET for your specific year.

Here is what it shows for the tail:

I don't have a tail so I'm not that familiar, but it looks like you need 3 M6x10 pan head screws (#7 in the pic), 5 spring washers (#8 in the pic), 5 M6 captive nuts (#9 in the pic), 7 M6x15 pan head screws (#10 in the pic), and 10 M6 washers (#11 in the pic).

Looking at part number N-0122-265-OEM (the spring washer), it appears to be CAD plated, so I'd not be surprised if the other fasteners were, too.

In addition to the fasteners, you will need the "base rail" piece (#12/13) that fits on the under-side of the lid and helps to evenly displace the clamping force of the fasteners. Let me know if you need a photo and I'll post my lid+tail. It is a Carrera tail, but same pieces.
