Another fuel leak thread.. help please

The typical "I changed the fuel filter and accumulator now I have a leak" thread. Question is, it gave a burst of fuel when I started the car then stopped. If I play with the hose it sprays again, but if I act like an adult and leave it alone it doesn't leak. Question is, do I just tighten/adjust the clamp or do I need to replace the entire hose? Where does this run to?

Th hose does not look bad. I would tighten the clamp carefully. When I installed my fuel filter one of the metal tube connections also leaked gasoline. I tightened the joint more and the leak stopped.

Fuel leaks never go away by themselves. I have the correct Metric E-85 rated hose for this in short lengths if needed.

I can also make up complete original Metric hose assemblies and I ship by Priority Mail.

For info, please email me. No PM's please.

in that situation just tightening the clamp may not do the job. i would cut a chunk off and move the hose up for a fresh spot at the very least

Hose clamps on CIS systems are pretty questionable. It's good that you have a replaced hose, but I am not sure that the metal fitting was designed for a hose clamp. I am also not sure that is the correct size hose, it may be an SAE size similar to the original. CIS runs high fuel pressures, so you need good fuel connections. If it's leaking, the correct answer is to replace the hose assembly with another of OEM spec or better.
Sorry, but you don't want a fire.
