An 80 uses 0 280 140 209, and I know that my 83 uses 0 280 140 218. Not sure what is correct for 81 and 82.

'81-'83 SC (USA/Can)..............................0-280-140-218
'81-'83 SC (Euro/RoW)............................0-280-140-226

AAR-206 has 17 - 18 Ohms resistance used in '76 & '77 CIS.
AAR-218 has about 33 Ohms resistance.

Are you having erratic cold idle? Keep us posted.

Thanks guys good info I have the 280 140 206 one
As my last week post goes I took it out just to clean it etc and posted a pic some one on here noted that I had the wrong one
That could explain my cold start idle surge for about 2 min, but I haven't checked my fuel pressures etc as it hasn't really been a big deal and the car runs strong and fine
