Fitting Door Frames with Opening Small Window On a Carrera
I have an '87 coupe and thought it would be great to have the door frames where the small triangular windows open. What years had these frames, and will they fit on my '87?

Anyone have any thoughts? Surely I can't be the only one. Couldn't find anything on search.

Oh, the info is out there, probably need to search for "vent wings".
But the answer, for coupes, is that '68 was the last year for vent wings, and the only coupe year with aluminum frames similar to the ones now in your car. The '67 and older were chrome-plated brass. None were made in black, and few will have the green-tinted glass that your car probably has. The black can be dealt with, the green tint is harder, you may have to get the glass itself from a later Targa, where the opening vent wings were still standard for a few additional years.
