my 87 carrera wheel transitions.

hello Pelicans.

just thought a share a few pictures of a few changes I've had with my 911 thru out the years.

here it is when i first picked the car up. it had 15x7/8 polished Fuch.

i really didn't like the look of 15's, so i upgraded to 16x6/7 Fuch.

A year later i upgraded to 16x7/9 turbo Fuch.

and my newest pick up. 17x8/9 Ruf Speedlines.

sorry for crappy pics. just thought i'd share.

Stay with the RUFs. They look perfect on your car.

The color of the Ruf wheels is perfect with your car. The polished petal Fuchs are also awesome looking but the size just doesn't work.

The only improvement I could think of at this point is as major weight reduction. (Those Speedlines are heavy...) Some Lindsey Fuchs in 7.5 and 9 by 17 with an RSR finish would be perfection!
(Glad to be able to help you spend your money!!!)

Opinion threads just lead to people stating their own tastes... Which means nothing unless they are footing the bill and driving the car. The big difference is that you lowered the car when you put the 7/9 Fuchs on... That made the difference. The stance is nice.

Keeping the Turbo Fuchs was a good move.

Is it me or do the Rufs look like oversized buttons?

I like the look of the Rufs contrasted to the color of your car - I also like the turbo wheels - nice you can switch back and forth.

Your car looks sweet in the turbo fuchs and the Rufs. My two favorite wheels of all time. The only wheel I could ever put on mine other than Fuchs are the Rufs. I love mine!
