1967 911S with 20,500 original miles

Showroom condition Silver 1967 911S. All there is to say is "wow..." Just couldn't get over the fact that it was so original. Just had to share it with you guys.

"Depending on what?"

Depending upon an independant inspection by an S expert and a thorough PPI to verify the advertising claims. Not that anyone has ever stretched the truth in a used car ad ....... -- Curt

I heard you could pick one of those up at Pomona for $9-10,000.

Now, Pomona?

I am not stupid first of all! I know you couldn't get one that cheap. But is Pomona a place to find excellent deals or a place that has many many "retailers" for just average prices?

this car sounds incredible! It looks great. Pics are always tough tho..if it IS as advertised...it's worth what the buyer will take! Cars like this come up for sale VERY rarely...I would say $40 easily, depending on inspection, possibly $45-$50....I wouldn't wait too long tho'.....Is the car in LA?

The Pomona quote is taking a dig at Wayne from a couple of comments he pasted a while back.

Well, I like it. I'll swap my half finished '75S for it (newer is better, surely).

Pomona is a once every 6 weeks swapmeet. Click on the link for more info. Anytime someone throws a "You can buy it at Pomona for $X,000" (always a ridiculously low price), it is a reference to what most everyone has heard from a perspective buyer whenever that buyer feels that a 911's price is too high.

Unhappy NOT REALLY FOR SALE

The car is not in LA, but I am. The owner doesn't want to sell it. I got my hopes up too soon.

Exactly. Not a dig at anyone person, just kind of an inside running joke amongst Pelicanheads.

The sad thing is you really couldn't drive it if it really is in such fine condition... museum piece only.

Wow, I love the early early sport seats with the round headrests and the 911R style script on the side. Nicest 67' S I've ever seen.

Wow!

Beautiful car!

I loved the orange 911E, but Sportmatic killed it. Sort of like the low mile Vasel Polak 911L still for sale.

This car is very cool!

Curious...

what do you think that 911E may have fetched(if it sold) or how much do you think someone would pay? Anyone actually driven a Sporto? People say so much bad about them, I wonder what it's like.
