Martini tribute - What do you think?

Realizing that I'll probably never be able to afford to build a proper Martini tribute 911, I decided to build my own Martini tribute ride.

My wife thinks I'm a dork (she's probably right) but my kids think I'm cool (good thing my oldest is only 8 years old).

What do you guys think?

This started off as a secondhand Razor e300 scooter I bought off of eBay. Unfortunately it was quite worn out when I got it so I decided to do what we do here on Pelican, rip it apart and upgrade it.

1) Stripped and powder coated all parts Gloss White
2) Upgraded motor from 250Watt to 400Watt DC motor
3) Upgraded speed controller and added variable electronic throttle
4) Spent way too much on decals from various eBay vendors
5) Coolest ride in the neighborhood??? Not sure but my kids would rather ride on this than in my 356.

This thing has much more torque than stock and will now pull my 200lbs as quickly as a stock Razor with my 80lb son.

I can see why your kids think you're cool. Looks great. Now ride it like you stole it.

I believe that it is stated in chapter 3, paragraph 8, of the international women's hand book that:

Men have stupid cars and looser friends. :-)

...but cool scooters ;-)

I think it's awesome and the fact you went to all this trouble to make it this cool speak a lot about your father son relation and he will always remember your effort and appreciate it.
Way to go on many levels.

Thanks for the kind words to all.

Details... I simply bought the Martini decals separately and covered it with a sheet of clear grip tape. Nothing custom here other then cutting the decals with scissors.

Outstanding. Now sell it to Martini for obscene money.

That is....among the coolest things I have ever seen in my life. I would have given any number of limbs to have something like that when I was younger.

The attention to detail is phenomenal (powder coat - not paint, the wiring and small plastic bit even match, etc. etc.), and with the upgraded motor and throttle... outstanding.

I've seen stripes like this on bicycles, but the work on the deck and electrical box just put it over the top.
