looking for John L Williamson - original owner
looking for Mr John L Williamson (not Otto) and probably not the right place but...
I have a 1971t originally bought and owned by a John L Williamson who lived at 311 Bay Front Balboa 1st Califonia 92660 Chassis number 9111101333 The dealer the car was bought from was Chick Iverson Inc, Newport Beach Cali. Know it is a long shot. Car now resides in Australia. Interested to track down some more info on its past. thanks Michel |

You have the address slightly wrong.
Instead of 311 Bay Front Balboa 1st California 92660, it should read either: 311 N. Bay Front, Balboa Island, California 92660, or 311 E. Bay Front, Balboa Island, California 92660 (Someone probably wrote Balboa Isl, which was misread as Balboa 1st) And, technically, the city would be Newport Beach, not Balboa Island (Balboa Island is an area in the city of Newport Beach). Amazingly, I think I know who that is. If it is the same person, I believe he is no longer alive (I think passed a long time ago), but his son still lives in Newport Beach. Barry
I have emailed Brett, though have not yet heard back. Have a mate in LA currently who contacted the office first. Happy to let you know how it goes. Jack - no. I had some (succinct :0 ) communication with 'Otto' couple of years back. Still trying to track down Dennis Bramnick. second owner. The car was originally factory Metallic Gold, then a polo red, now the silver |

Had some correspondence with the family and they have forwarded a couple of photos taken in Palm Desert in 1973. It was sold shortly afterwards.
Makes me think about repainting the car gold ![]() ![]() |

Yep, that's who I thought it was. His son looks exactly like him. What a small world.

"Makes me think about repainting the car gold"
Time to find a place that can re-do a really good Metallic Gold paint job! It's a great color.

its a great colour !
I have spoken with Brett and hope to receive a bit more info on the car from when his father owned it. Have also offered the use of the car to him or his brother if they ever make it down under. Just need to find Dennis Bramnick the second owner. I find a listing for a Bramnick nearby Newport, but cannot find actual contact details. Amongst other things curious to know if he painted it Polo Red and why? When the car was painted silver in 2006-7 there was no apparent older accident damage or repairs. thx to G50, BH912E TR914 for the assistance |
